Springview Farms
Springview Farms is an evolutionary development in the more than 100 year tradition of farming by the Marshall family. In 2006 Harry Jr. and Harry Sr. started producing quality beef to offer a healthier beef alternative. Springview acquired its own bull to service its cows, making Springview beef source verified.
Springview takes an ‘All Natural’ approach to raising beef- no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers are used on the pastures and no animal is ever treated with antibiotics or growth hormones. The meat is processed by EcoFriendly, a USDA-certified processor where the animals are treated in a humane and conscientious manner, never subjected to the fearful, uncomfortable conditions common throughout the industry.
All Natural Angus Beef
Springview Farms beef comes from Black Angus cattle which are raised and processed according to the highest standards for “Natural” beef:
· Fed a diet of carefully selected grasses supplemented only by carefully selected, approved vitamins and minerals
- Grain-finished for 60 days and dry-aged for 60-90 days
- Age and source verified
- Free of antibiotics that may contribute to the problems of antibiotic resistant bacteria
- Free of growth hormones that are associated with early onset of puberty and some forms of cancer
- Free of mammalian or poultry protein or by-products, significantly reducing the risk of contact with a variety of toxins, including the one believed to cause mad cow disease
- Unexposed to pesticides and fertilizers made from synthetic ingredients or bioengineering
